Patient Ambassador Tour
The CKF Patient Ambassador Tour aims to support transplant candidates, recipients, and their families by introducing them to successful transplant stories. CKF visits transplant centers and hospitals with our team of patient ambassadors to inspire those currently going through the transplant process, and provide them with support from those who have already been through it.
During the tour, CKF will host support groups and panels on particular topics for anyone wanting to learn more about the transplant process and others’ transplant experiences. Prior to COVID, CKF visited locations all across the US. Due to the pandemic, this program was halted, and our webinar series was created. CKF is now trying to return to hosting Ambassador Tour events in 2024.
