National Donate Life Month (NDLM) is celebrated every April and features a full month of activities to encourage organ donor registration.

Give Hope Appeal
CKF will be running a Give Hope Appeal this Donate Life Month. Community members are invited to help pack shoeboxes with goodies for transplant candidates, new transplant recipients, transplant families, and living donors. We are looking for Ambassadors willing to collect boxes in their areas and deliver them to their local hospitals, partner organizations to place items in the boxes, and hospitals to distribute the boxes.
Solar Eclipse Party
There will be a solar eclipse on April 8th! In keeping with this year’s Donate Life Month theme, Donors are Superstars, we are encouraging you to host your own eclipse party and raise awareness while you do it. CKF will send you solar eclipse glasses, educational materials, games, and swag.
We sent boxes to 25 events for 3,000 people in 11 different states!
Donor Dudes Events
In honor of National Donate Life Month, host your own awareness event in your school, college, workplace, or community. You can create your own event or pick an event from one of our event-in-a-box plans. CKF will provide you with all of the education materials, swag, and even guest speakers if you need them. We are happy to sign off any volunteer hours, and support in other ways when needed. Click below to learn more.
Light It Up Green & Blue
Last year, our Light It Up Green & Blue Campaign went wonderfully, so we are bringing it back! Along with other Donate Life organizations, CKF is asking prominent and notable buildings nationwide to light up green & blue in honor of the gift of life in April. Please help us by reaching out to buildings and landmarks in your community, and asking them to join the movement and light it up!
