Local Musician Brad Manosevitz Helps Spread Awareness About Organ Donation

“I consider myself more of an entertainer than an artist. Though I do write songs from time to time, I mostly play covers. My specialty is showing people a good time, not songwriting”. “I like playing songs from artists & songwriters who are my heroes. If we had to wait for these people to come around and play for us, we’d never get to hear their music. When I play a cover, it feels like a tribute to a hero of mine like Guy Clark, Steve Earl, or Robert Earl Keen. I feel good about sharing their music with audiences. And maybe, through me, someone will get turned on to some music they’ve never heard before”.
Raised on Texas radio in Austin, Brad Manosevitz’s musical influences encompass a diverse range of reggae, acid jazz, funk, soul, electronica, jam, Celtic, blues, bluegrass, Latin, and others. His time in Santa Cruz as a KPIG radio DJ had the greatest influence on his present catalog: an eclectic mix of Americana, West Texas folk rock, bluegrass, classic rock & originals. In the Spring of 2009, Brad teamed up with long time supporter, Chris Klug. Chris Klug is a pro snowboarder and organ donor recipient. The Chris Klug Foundation is dedicated to promoting lifesaving donation and improving the quality of life for donors, donor families, organ transplant candidates, and recipients. “I decided that I could put the music to work for a good cause by helping spread the message to each audience I play for,” says Brad.
