CKF strives to increase the number of registered donors, & has the capacity to quickly register people to the national donor database with our online platform.

Vitalant Blood Drives
Start the new year by saving a life! Be a hero and sign up for the Vitalant Bloodmobile in either Carbondale or Aspen this January.
Every 2 seconds, someone in the US needs blood. A single trauma patient alone can need 100 units of blood to survive. And 1 in 83 moms will require a blood transfusion after giving birth.
Less than 3% of Americans donate blood annually, yet just 1 blood donation can save up to 3 lives! There is no substitute for blood; it can only come from volunteer donors. And all blood types are needed to support hospital patients. It takes less than an hour to save a life!
