APRIL 6TH: Spring into Wellness Event. We will have a booth out at First Friday in Carbondale, Colorado to help raise awareness about the importance of organ donation throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. Come say hi to us and learn how you can help save lives.
APRIL 9th -13th: A variety of business up and down our valley are showing their support this week by hanging blue and green lights in their windows to help raise awareness about organ donation. Keep your eye out for them and remember to talk to your friends and family about organ donation.
APRIL 14th: We are kicking off our Patient Ambassador Panel Tour with UCHealth and Donor Alliance in at the Bruce Schroffel Conference Center at UCHealth in Aurora. Come and enjoy a fun-filled morning with panel talks from Olympic Snowboarder and Liver Transplant Recipient Chris Klug, Former NFL Football Player and Liver Transplant Recipient Eric Barton, Kidney Transplant Recipient Sara Millard, Donor Mother Gail Gallagher, and Medical Director of the Live Donor Kidney Transplant Program at University of Colorado Monica Grafals. There will also be informational tables from Donor Alliance, The National Kidney Foundation, and The American Transplant Foundation.

APRIL 19th: We will be out at the Glenwood Springs Community Center in Glenwood Springs, Colorado with St. Mary’s Medical Center and their bloodmobile. Come out to donate blood and register as an organ donor!
APRIL 28th: We will be in Los Angeles for One Legacy’s Run/Walk. Chris Klug will be opening up the walk with a brief talk and we will have a booth on site for people to come up before and after the Run/Walk to speak with Chris and get some photos.
ONGOING THROUGHOUT THE MONTH:
We have partnered with The Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland again this year to run the #InOneWordCampaign throughout the month. Post on your social media platforms why #InOneWord you support organ donation. Let’s see how many people across the nation we can get to express the importance of organ donation.
DONOR DUDE GAMES: We are thrilled to have multiple Donor Dude Games going on throughout the month across the nation where schools are helping to raise awareness about organ donation by playing a sports games and rocking our new Legends Socks that highlight Olympic Snowboarder Chris Klug and Former NFL football player Eric Barton.
